Microblogging:

This session is devoted to exploring one of the  possibilities of microblogging: TWITTER . Follow the weekly tasks and let´s explore this tool together.

Week 1  (19 - 25 May)

1. What is microblogging? Read the definition in WIKIPEDIA   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Micro-blogging

2. In order to get to know a bit about what   TWITTER is watch this Video  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddO9idmax0o

3. Read the following post about microblogging:

  http://www.lostintechnology.com/websites/what-is-twitter

4. If you are a twitter user, write a message to the group talking about your opinion about TWITTER, its advantages and disadvantages. Share your twitter username with the group by including it to the TWITTER NETWORKtable in the wiki.

Week 2  (26 - 01 June)

1. Now it´s time to try it out. Open a free twitter account at http://twitter.com/

go to our wiki  and include your twitter username to the TWITTER NETWORK table (contact us if you don´t know the wiki password). Add other members in order to start sharing information. Follow weekly tasks by adding LWCers to the contacts you follow in twitter. (USERNAME: lwcers)

 2.  Let´s share. Every time you use the net, go to your account in TWITTER and follow what other members have been doing. Explore their links, ask questions, interact. Remember to update your message every time you want to share what you´re doing or what you´ve discovered.

3. Building the LWC network: in order to help us check what other LWCers are up to, we´ve created a crowdstatus page where we can see our group updates.

Check it out: CROWDSTATUS

2. Share an interesting video you´ve found recently. Explain in brief words what the video is about and type the video URL.

3. Explore the links our group members suggest this week. Leave comments. To address one specific person, type @username + message, like the image below.

Week 4  (09 - 15 June)
